Pat also worked as an operations manager of a prototype facility for 12 of those years where he learned how to set up and run an operation efficiently. This included earning a six-sigma green belt certification by demonstrating competence in applying a DMAIC approach and lean methodologies to generate process improvements and optimization. During this time, he branched out further to apply and refine these skills as well as develop new skills, starting a side business providing website design and maintenance, process improvement identification, plus marketing services for small businesses.
Most recently Pat passed the Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam and became licensed as an insurance agent. These two tasks were critical to gain a solid foundational understanding of the finance industry to best serve your needs.
On the personal side Pat has practiced servant leadership throughout adulthood, which stems from his deep Catholic faith. He has coached his three children’s various sports teams in basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer, who are now adults themselves. He has also been very active at his parish, St. Frances Cabrini, serving a term as parish council vice-president, creating and chairing annual horseshoe tournaments which evolved into cornhole tournaments that have been enjoyed by thousands, and is an active member of the Cabrini High School Alumni Committee chairing annual alumni hockey games and Alumni Hall of Fame Golf Outing, as well lector at mass monthly. In summary, when help is needed Pat is always willing to step in.
If it’s not obvious yet, Pat loves sports. Therefore, when not volunteering his time for others you can typically find him on a golf course in the summer or playing ice hockey in the winter. And when not playing, much of his leisure time is spent watching his favorite sports teams such as the Red Wings, Lions, Tigers, and the Michigan Wolverines.
Last, but definitely not least, Pat loves spending time traveling or entertaining with his beautiful wife of 37 years, who also happens to be Bill’s sister and Mark’s aunt.
Therefore, in a nutshell, the skills he’s learned, his warm-hearted personality and his passion for helping others are a perfect complement to our team. And he is so looking forward to serving you!
